Associate Principal

Zachary Klein supports clients with evidence-based research and analysis that spans healthcare sectors and stakeholders, contributing to the development of client analysis and insights.

Prior to joining Avalere, Zachary completed an internship with the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Association’s Office of Policy and Representation, working with the Medicare team. Zachary also interned for Wisconsin’s governor, Tony Evers, focusing on the governor’s statewide health policy objectives. As an undergraduate research assistant with the Neidenthal Human Emotions lab, Zachary worked to further understand the underpinnings of the human emotional experience, focusing specifically on mechanisms such as facial expression analysis and the effects of social media on self-worth.

Zachary holds a BA in political science and psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
