James Horner supports Avalere’s health plan, supplemental benefit, digital health, and government clients.
James is responsible for coordinating Avalere’s project teams across practices to design and implement projects that will meet the challenges of Avalere’s clients. James leverages his experience in Medicare Advantage, data analytics, and risk adjustment to design creative solutions for his clients.
Prior to joining Avalere, James was a capture manager with HMS Federal, a federal healthcare data analytics contractor, where he designed fraud, waste, and abuse detection solutions in several federal agencies, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Defense Health Agency.
James has a BA in economics from Wake Forest University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration from the Duke Fuqua School of Business.
