Bryan leads the life sciences account management and business development functions within US Advisory at Avalere Health.
Over his 7+ years at the company, he has worked directly with hundreds of clients – big and small, emerging and established – to design and deliver strategic, impactful, and data-driven advisory services.
Prior to joining Avalere, Bryan was a principal with Mercer where he guided large-cap corporate clients through the transition to a private health insurance exchange. Before that, he held healthcare management consulting roles with Deloitte Strategy & Operations and Mercer Government Human Services Consulting, where he focused on state Medicaid program operations, Affordable Care Act (ACA) expansion activities, and 1115/1915(b) and (c) waivers. For a brief period, Bryan worked as a registered healthcare lobbyist. He started his career serving on the legislative staff of two members of the US House of Representatives, both of whom sat on the House Energy and Commerce Committee with responsibly for federal health care-related initiatives, including the ACA.
Bryan has a BA from the University of Maryland, College Park, and has completed post-graduate coursework in health law at the Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
