Bethany Houpt supports clients with research, analysis, and strategic insight across a range of healthcare sectors and stakeholders.

Before joining Avalere Health, Bethany served as a project manager and researcher at the Altarum Institute, where she led complex, cross-sector initiatives and contributed to studies aimed at improving population health. She also worked at the Lewin Group as a health management consultant in the Policy and Research practice area, conducting environmental scans, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and developing actionable recommendations for public-sector clients. Her work focuses on applying mixed methods research, including qualitative interviews, surveys, and analysis of clinical and administrative data, to inform strategies that advance health access and outcomes.

Bethany holds an MPH from Washington University in St. Louis and BAs in public health and human services from Elon University.
