Associate

Justin Lee provides clients with original analyses of healthcare policies, reimbursement strategies, and market access trends to help them navigate the evolving regulatory landscape.

In recent projects, Justin has provided critical insights to clients on the financial and operational impacts of healthcare policies. He played a key role in evaluating the effects of Medicaid unwinding on a health plan’s reimbursement model and value-based care participation, as well as a comprehensive competitor analysis, to help the company’s leadership refine its strategy.

Before joining Avalere, Justin worked as a product management intern at Centene, where he conducted market access research and reimbursement analysis. He evaluated Medicaid expansion and its effects on healthcare utilization through quantitative research, identifying key policy-driven trends that influenced decision making.

Justin holds an MPH in health policy analysis from Washington University in St. Louis and a BS in sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
